NO CELL PHONES IN CLASSROOMS AT GMG-STATE LAW
GMG Families and Students
REMINDER:
Iowa school districts must adopt policies banning cell phones during class time, under a new law that Gov. Kim Reynolds said will reduce distractions in the classroom (at the start of the 2025-2026 school year).
The law requires Iowa’s public K-12 school districts to implement rules limiting cell phones during classroom instructional time. They can adopt stricter standards if they choose.
GMG students are NOT ALLOWED to have cell phones in classrooms!
